Albert "Boo" Frankenbach is the founder and President of Southampton Nursery.  Born and raised in Southampton, he is a 1952 graduate of the School of Forestry at Syracuse University.  After college he served his country in the Army Corps of Engineers in Korea. After being honorably discharged from the Army he and his wife, Ann, settled in Southampton and raised three children. In 1957 they started Southampton Nursery and Garden Center.  The Garden Center closed in 1986. Their son, Jim, joined the business in 1981 and is currently the Vice-President.  Jim is a New York State Certified Nursery Professional.  Both Boo and Jim are active members of the Southampton Fire Department.
